This month, apart from getting quite excited about the Joe Calzaghe fight and laughing at Arsenal after their defeat in the Champion’s League, we judged the regional finals of Live and Unsigned, putting through some absolute beauts in the process, bagged interviews with indie hopefuls The Cavaliers and Prospect Lane, tried and failed to pin down Adam Green long enough to get our arranged interview and sacked a completely incompetent cunt of a writer. Luckily though, all the others are ace so it doesn’t matter.

We’re also on the verge of some rather interesting sponsorship deals which you’ll be hearing about over the next couple of months and could mean I’ll be getting that office Punch and Judy booth sooner rather than later.

So, all in all, it’s been a pretty good month. Well, two months because we’re unbelievably late. Sorry about that but some shit needed sorting, yeah?

And with that I’ll leave you to get on with it. Hope you enjoy all the gear in this month’s issue. And if you don’t... meh.

Highlights this issue include an interview with London-based glam/sleaze outfit Young Lovers, a short Q&A with rockers Hundred Reasons, reviews of the new British Sea Power and Cat Power albums and an interesting, if totally baffling, interview with this month�s cover stars Metro Riots. We�ve also been off this month judging the preliminary rounds of Live and Unsigned, the UK�s biggest and bestest unsigned talent search, and I can tell you, there were some complete beauts. In fact, when you think about it, there isn�t anything in here you wouldn�t want to read.
